  1. “Stanford …
“Stanford University LittleDog Videos” ….Look at this video…..1000X much more advanced robot…

  2. they are working on …
they are working on it. it is surprisingly hard to get six legs to move exactly how you want them to quickly if each leg has three joints and each and every joint is controlled seperately. the many sensors also provide a large amount of data to compute. this causes the processor to be slow. also, the servomotors used on many small robots move quickly and abruptly to exact points. this, coupled with the slow processing, creates a jerking movement.

  3. Nothing to be sorry …
Nothing to be sorry about, you just missunderstood the actual idea of this project. :3

  4. “War is a way of …
“War is a way of shattering to pieces, or pouring into the stratosphere, or sinking in the depths of the sea, materials which might otherwise be used to make the masses too comfortable, and hence, in the long run, too intelligent.”

Gravity determines whether you are upside-down, if there is no gravity in space, there is no point of reference, and thus you cannot be upside-down. You think a pen can tell what the earth looks like out of a port window?

  5. The walking wasn’t …
The walking wasn’t the idea with this project, it was basically to make robots sense uneven ground/terrain. so that they can step over gaps and stuff.

  6. xboxbobx: what are …
xboxbobx: what are you talking about??its true what applexy said:what have u done in your life to benefit the world?? WHY is it that we humans blame god for our own actions,WHY is it that we humans ONLY remember god in times of danger,AND why is it we blame god for our output if our input is wrong,we humans have been created with something really wonderfull called a brain so please use it,i dont blame my uni lecturer because i failed an exam but i blame myself because of insufficient study.

  7. god? no such thing. …
    god? no such thing.

and tell me! what has he done in the past 100 years to benefit us?

    lets see….uhmm….err….

  8. First comes to …
First comes to small and cute advanced robots, then the personal robots, then the “Matrix-We’re going to enslave you robots” and then finally the cyborgs.

    When will it end!

  9. But you probably …
But you probably have never lived here and probably not in the other 11 countries that rated above the USA. So how would you know?

  10. Holerman: It is …
Holerman: It is all up to ones opinion whether there is a higher or lower crime rate.

    Haha, no it is statistics.
