Huh? The x86 …
Huh? The x86 architecture is awesome. Its an open system, many OSes can run on it. Does Linux, os/2, or Freebsd suck? No! (matter of opinion)
Why don’t they need to be building new computer architectures, in order to not suck? because they don’t have to. By They , I mean the companies / people that developed the other Oses besides Microsoft.

That is the point. According to the Jobs and Woz in order to build a great and computer (or any device) you must design the software and the hardware so that they work together perfectly.
