GM Robotic Gloves

General Motors and NASA are jointly developing a robotic glove that auto workers and astronauts can wear to help do their respective jobs better while potentially reducing the risk of repetitive stress injuries.

    What it does is help you keep your grip by basically giving you a mechanical hand in glove form. Ever try to hold onto something heavy for a long time, this glove could possibly hold it for you so you don’t need to use the muscles in your hand has much. It helps your? grip power and not necessarily how ‘grippy’ your fingers and palm are.

    Wait Wait Wait, At not one point in this video was the powerglove actually being demonstrated. No shots were shown of his hand movements actually controlling? the robot. Ya sure the robot moved but what was controlling it other than an off camera computer.
