lol… they grew … lol… they grew the brain cells in the lab.. it wasn’t a brain they’d cut out of a rat & plugged into a robot… but the original cells had to come from somewhere.
Actually its really weird if you think about it… its the first real cyborg brain (machine driven by living braincell interface… minus the consciousness… one umes??)… and blinkin rats got there first! lol
Bit like dogs got into space first (now that really was sad.. but look at the advances from that)
people kill rats in … people kill rats in their own homes for no reason. killing them to further humankind and advance science and medicine isnt quite as bad, now is it?
“IF” any harm has … “IF” any harm has come to a sentient being through the process of creating such a device. that sucks. quantum sentience gives rise to human sentient cellular self-awareness. cellular sentience gives rise to well… the cyborg we see in this video?
Acutely they … Acutely they usually take a miniscule and almost useless amount of cells and “grow” them, sort of like having a baby or a ameba splitting.
tbh some of this … tbh some of this stuff is kinda scary… robots with brains? hmmmm and so it seems that we (yet again) advance beyond our own capabilities far too quickly
Very true, these … Very true, these people dont even realize the power they wield… its all I took an oath for the betterment of humanity this and ill never win a nobel prize if im not selfless that… what a waste.
Man, videos like … Man, videos like this, while entertaining already, would be a bunch cooler if one of the researchers was acting like a mad scientist and shouting thinks like “MANKIND IS YET TO RECOGNIZE MY GENIUS!”
