    this is the best …
this is the best mechatronics I have seen for some time. robust. inherently stable. simple.
my hat is off to the inventor. # 🙂
I would like to speak to him because I have been designing variable profile wheels for some time.
U could install those wheels on segways –

    So all this robot …
So all this robot can do is move in a straight line over a bunch or stairs? Good job. must be real useful not being able to turn in a search and rescue mission.

    The biggest flaw in …
The biggest flaw in this “Search and Rescue” machine, is that it can’t turn! Secondly, what is it going to do when it gets to the victim?
I don’t see a future in this particular robot, but the wheels may be the key to rocky terrain.
