Eh. Once they perfect actual movement, not just basic response, it’ll be a lot more impressive. As it stands, they’re glorified automatons. The 18th century had more impressive machines.

@Snipehunter09 I …
@Snipehunter09 I can understand what you mean, but it would be hiding the reality from a child – in this case – the reality that not everyone, and not everything lives forever.
Grief is a natural part of life and essential to understand life itself.
In my view, death is natures way of preparing people for their own death, in a way.
Then I apologize… …
Then I apologize… Robot’s most certainly do not make one’s life complete, but helps us through ways only they can perform. Atleast, that’s how I see it, and that’s how I’ll always see it.

@Snipehunter09 I …
@Snipehunter09 I know what it’s like to lose a life; and I’m not just speaking on the terms of pets here.
Would you trade your mother or father for a robot!? I doubt you would. The same goes for pets, it’s a factor of life.
Why would anyone rather have a robot animal over a real animal – because it doesn’t die? The whole point to life is to cherish it, not manipulate it and make a con out of it, that’s why real bonds are so important.
To show compassion and to get none back is pointless to me.
lol man is god …
lol man is god already, have you not heard of the LIVE ORGANISM we created?? if you don’t believe me google it, when i first heard of it, it was two days later after it was created, by then it had multiplied succesfully over 3million times, by now probably trillions, man is god already, we created life, and we take life? what’s the difference between Christ, and Man? nothing.
You clearly failed …
You clearly failed to understand the last message. Do you really know how it feels to lose a life? the pain given by the end of the same relationship. A kitten that you’ve developed a close bond with after nursing it back to health, then to see it shattered after suffering excessive head trauma and dying. It’s not that I reject the pain given by reality, but the fact that through science, we are able to undo and heal that pain that comes in every manner. I loved my pet cat, but to see it die….
