How to Build a Mini Battle Bot – Part 3

In this video I will show you how to build a mini Battle Bot. This is my spinner robot that I designed and built using a frying pan, a few bolts, some parts from a computer, and an rc system. For a more in depth look at how to hack a Futaba S3003 Servocheck out this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtLN8BoMIlQ

    The bed is actually …
The bed is actually an old air hockey table that does not work. Yeah thinking about it, there is a competition coming up next summer in SF CA. Not sure of the weight class, I’ve modified it a few times since this vid and the weight has nearly doubled.

    Could videos, …
Could videos, however, spinning your robot up on your bed = Not smart… 🙂 even at low speeds these things could easily chop off a finger.

You going to enter it into any events? I looks like it might be competitive. What weight class is this???

Transmitters, if you are going to use metal, I recommend 2.4Ghz, like the Spektrum. They have far less problems with interference and better reception even in metal casings.

    It depends on how …
It depends on how much of the robot you would want. The electronics are not cheap, just the blue motor and speed controller that power the weapon would cost more than $100. The radio system I need for my other Planes and Bots. Tell me how much of it you would want and I’ll give you a price.
