About how much money does it cost to build a battlebot/combatrobot?

I want to build one and don’t know how much money it costs. If you guys could tell me about how much it costed to build yours, if you did, and post a pic if possible.

If you are talking about the ones shown on TV competitions, depending on how good/lucky you are at scrounging and how many tools you already own and what you have to pay for, anything from a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand. Almost everyone has to buy the radio stuff and batteries or have bought it in the past and kept it, but buying the motors can be costly while handy scrounging can drop the cost. The cost of building the frames, shells, "armor" and "weapons" is where handymen do it with their own time instead of their own money.
