you know a simple way to get rid of the tether would be to have a two servos conected to your swithes, basically turning your controlller into a cheap rc motor controller! this seems like a great way to get high school studentes involved into robots! if your on a budget, get two rc controllers and with two “servo motor controllers” and have your students share. great project for beginners! keep up the good work!
