@UBConquered In Series 7, Robot Wars had a rule saying that every weapon had to be powered, which eliminated thwackbots like Stinger (Overkill would not have been allowed in Series 7). Robot Wars tried on several occasions to eliminate Storm 2 (and only Storm 2) from the competition using questionable methods. Battlebots did not ever do this, the closest Battlebots did? to this was allowing seeded machines to pass the qualifying rounds. -

@UBConquered? Nightmare wouldn’t have been allowed in Robot Wars because it was “too dangerous”, yet Robot Wars would be trying to rig matches to get rid of “boring” robots. Paradox much? -

@licksprittle The damage done to BattleRat was what won it for Nightmare.? While I do agree neither team was really dominant, there was some damage done to Nightmare (the hind wheel that acted as the fulcrum for balance and maneuvering purposes was busted off by the end). -
