How to make a simple custom logo

This tutorial revolves around using fonts, which are a great basis for a logo even if you want to pen tool it. The trick is to know what font looks good with your name and then spend 20 mins thinking about what to add to it. Just go to dafont and type in your name, they have awesome features and categories which will help you decide.

I’ve listed a few great fonts to help get you started 🙂

    @oGoggles Click on the thumbnail of the layer while holding control, then go into the paths panel? and click the button down the bottom saying “make work path from selection”, then click file>export>paths to illustrator and save it anywhere. Once you’re in C4D click file>open then open up your file and make the scale whatever suits best. I generally have it somewhere between 0.5 and 2. Hope that helped 🙂
