Electricity question?

I am creating a medium sized (max 1 foot to 2 foot long and wide) Battlebot, and am trying to deliver a large amount of voltage+ current easily, enough to fry the enemies circuitry, but it should only be brief.

Get a car ignition coil, start current through the primary and then suddenly interrupt the circuit. You will get an fast pulse of high voltage from the coil secondary.

Hook in an 800 watt fluid energy convertor that stops at a fifty ohm electric-thermal energy resistor. It'll burn a huge hole in the other battlebots face! And while you're busy building you're dorkbot, why not go on World of Warcraft and get rejected by thousands of girls!!! You are a total loser!!!

charge some semi large high voltage caps like ones found in old tv's or crt monitors. Make sure to discharge them properly before taking a apart though. They will only be a burst but it will do well. Also build a villard voltage multiplier to charge it. just google that.
