    It was many years …
    It was many years between coming up with the idea of Towering Inferno & getting him into the BattleBox. When I conceived of TI, the winningest bots were low-slung lifters/wedges/manipulators: Biohazard, Voltarc, Vlad, etc. Towering Inferno was designed to be? unpinnable, unflippable, & to pound on those big flat tops of those types of bots. Then spinners came along in the meantime & Towering Inferno wasn’t terribly well-suited to fighting those types of bots. His hammers didn’t do a whole lot…
