Interesting application where the well known Samovi Ricart’s universal gripper runs 20L jerrycans. Remarkable that by using this gripper a simple Robot can palletise jerrycans and packs or cartons in separate lines simultaneously. Speeds up to 6 cycles/min.

This is an example shot at Samovi Ricart premises to prove that the head works for jerrycans as well as carton boxe. Samovi Ricart was one of the first manufacturers to use fork protecion underneath the product (shrink packs, carton boxes, jerrycans..) rather than the side pressure gripper.
Samovi Ricart has installed more than 250 units in end of line packaging lines all around the world.
