Freshmen Design Project FTW

Video of our freshmen project. “Bomb Disarming Robot” You had to use the Lego Mindstorm software and kit to build an autonomously controlled device to press a button at the top of the course. Knocking over the ping pong balls were extra credit, as well as returning a different way from the start.

Simple Robot for Maze Solving

How to get through a maze: Right Wall Follow Algorithm
Check if there is a wall on your right side. If there is not, turn 90degrees to the right and move #cm forward. If there is, check if there is a wall in front of you.
If there is no wall in front of you, move forward #cm. If there is a wall in front of you, turn left 90 degrees. Repeat process until you reach the end of the maze.
