I don’t believe so.

It includes a link to the user manual, including setup and all that’s in the set up is install the battery. So, I believe that it would come fully assembled. (the user manual is in PDF format)

if you are interested in robotic kits, you might have more luck looking for those than children’s "robotic" toys.
