Wichita State University’s College of Engineering hosted an Engineering with LEGO Robotics Summer Camp July 13-17, 2009. This video documents some of the action and conversations with some of the campers and counselors.
In both the beginner and advanced camps, 6th through 8th grade students worked in teams to learn how to build, program and run LEGO® robots through a series of activities expanding students understanding of robots in sensing and responding to the environment. The camp is hands-on with campers building pre-designed LEGO® robots and modifying the robots for different environments and tasks. The camp ended with an event in which campers will demonstrate their robots to friends and family.
