Robot Swarm

A swarm robotic demonstration using 278 miniature e-puck robots at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Robots in the video are all real, not computer generated.

    they were embled then moved away. it was played backwards. if they were all moving independently they cannot emble that quickly. they would need to go around each other and figure out where to go.

    (Its a bloody murderous scene when the police arrive, the swarm of 10,000 micro robots armed with saws and drills and ant crawling abilities swarmed this man and tore him to shreds. they cannot eat so they left his guts splattered all over the living room floor.)

    Well you can give the robots a tiny gps and tell each one to go to a location and so on so it forms a word or a logo.

  6. Rather easier to …
    Rather easier to put the robots down in the shape of the logo rather than program them to do it themselves. Playing the video of them breaking up the formation backwards suggests an amount of effort that wasn’t involved.

    On the other hand, if this is for real, then it’s quite impressive.

    lol hockey, the sport that Canadians loved until we played…hockey the sport the US loved until it was ttaken over by robots, coming to a theater near you!
