This video from the “Last Robot Standing” competition sponsored by Georgetown College’s (KY) graduate education program. This year, the Back to the Moon 2009 Robot Camp focused on the 40th anniversary of the moon walk and on current and future moon missions. We created robots that would deliver cargo on the moon, clean space garbage from Earth’s orbit, and explore the surface of the moon. Twenty nine campers, four Junior Counselors, and 18 graduate students and classroom teachers participated in the camp this year (a record!) We also enjoyed generous support from the WHAS Crusade for Children program, which made it possible for children with special needs and a Scott County special education teacher to participate in the camp and to take home three robot kits and software to use for school robotics activities. Thanks to everyone who has supported our camp this year! Dr. Andrea Peach, Assoc. Professor, Education
