You could build an archery-bot and by-pass the “no unteathered projectiles” rule by using a modified CO2-powered impail-bot.
Instead of the sharpened metal spike shooting forward several inches before stopping and retracting, it would shoot up to several yards out of the bot connected by a metal chain that would then retract and lock into place for the next shot.
If you want to get really advanced, the spike would have 3-4 perpendicular spring-loaded metal plates protruding… see next post.makes for a of …
