Spider Tank Toy Update (Greatest Toy in the Universe that doesn’t have a name yet)

So, I’m super psyched about the robots. …I’m a bit bummed that I’m not getting much say in the naming, or stories for the robots. Hopefully the marketing guys come up with cool stuff.
Either way, I’ve learned a lot on this project about business, and marketing, and why there’s so much junk on the shelves in stores. Its simply more monetarily beneficial to make junk. Its just way way less cool. So, I put tons of effort into getting these things up to the standard that I think toys should be. 🙂

I can’t wait to paint a few the way I like, and basically adventure builderize them. 😀

    The targets are changeable. They click in, so…. you can put big ones or small ones. That way you can give handicaps to people? who are blasting everyone away.

    You should totally get them to make? a matte grey version of the toy that can be painted with model paint (or just regular acrylic) so that big 25 yr old kids like me can customize them.

    sjvs – what you can say comfortably is that the ps3 controller is a proprietary, branded controller. While hackers delight in reverse engineering such objects to use on their own projects, it’s bad form (and may result in legal action) for one company to reverse engineer someone else’s product for unintended? use. Sony doesn’t market or support that use, nor have they opened up specs for doing it.
