The Mindstorms Robot uses an ultrasonic sensor to identify objects within a set 2 foot range, and then it identifies an object and says “object”…if that object is in the field of range 2 seconds later then it is programmed to say “Welcome Humans” as opposed to giving a warning and then firing a ball … it’s a peaceful robot therefore :-] – Created by a WyzAnt Tutor.
