Donhad Pty. Ltd of Perth manufacture fastenings, mainly for mining and oil & gas industries. They were experiencing major problem with incidents, near misses & hazards in their manual grinding operations. So they asked systems integrator Robotics Solutions WA to look at an automated alternative. The newly installed system, featuring an ABB IRB 6660 Industrial Robot with Force Control & Foundry Protection, has eliminated all problems and resulted in a safe, zero incident, environment.
